The treatment of metastases–for example, in the liver or lungs–poses a significant challenge for an interdisciplinary team. Treatment approaches for the abdominal and thoracic cavities are typically multimodal, meaning they combine drug-based tumor therapy and/or radiotherapy with surgery whenever possible. Surgical intervention aims to completely remove the metastases. We use state-of-the-art and highly innovative methods with gentle, minimally invasive procedures to optimize patient outcomes.
