Second opinion

The diagnosis of cancer has changed your life. A well-grounded second opinion from me, as an experienced specialist, can help in any case: I will review your case from all perspectives and develoop a personalized treatment plan. State-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment procedures, as well as the support of a skilled interdisciplinary team are at my disposal.

Consultation in the practice

  • Please schedule an appointment in my practice.
  • Please bring copies of the following documents to the appointment, if available:
    – last doctor’s letter
    – tumor board decision
    – surgical report
    – imaging findings (CT, MR etc.)
    – images on CD, stick or link access
    (For an initial consultation, we cannot request the findings fromo outside sources.)

Please understand that providing a second opinion or preliminary diagnosis in writing or over the telephone is not possible.

What is a private practice?

As a private physician, I offer quick appointments with no waiting times (appointments on Mondays from 4:15 PM). I provide personal care in a calm and quiet atmosphere. My fees are partially reimbursed by your health insurance.

Information on accessibility

The practice is accessible only via stairs.
We are happy to provide assistance for our patients with limited mobility as well as visually impaired or blind patients (please inform us when booking an appointment).

For our wheelchair-bound patients, we are pleased to offer professional advice as part of our clinical activities at the University Clinic for Surgery Salzburg.
